We are all His beautiful creation! May He be glorified in us and through us!
Each sterling silver disc is hand stamped and assembled by our team and placed on a sterling silver necklace here in the USA. Every necklace comes with a plastic bag and anti-tarnish paper for storing your necklace when not being worn.
What is .925 sterling silver?
We chose to use .925 sterling silver for our disc necklaces because of its top quality and affordable price. .925 sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals, usually copper. Sterling silver, if not worn often or stored properly, will tarnish over time. Tarnish is a natural occurring process and does not damage your necklace. If tarnish happens, with little care and polish, your sterling silver necklace will shine like new again. Below is a way to clean the tarnish off of your sterling silver jewelry using household products at home.
Cleaning your .925 sterling silver necklace.
– a dish or bowl
– aluminum foil
– 1 cup boiling water
– 1 tablespoon of baking soda for each cup of water
Line the bottom of a dish or bowl with aluminum foil.
Bring water to a roaring boil (it should be enough to fill that bowl or dish).
Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda per cup of water. Solution may bubble and froth a bit.
Make sure the baking soda is completely dissolved.
Place the piece of silver jewelry in the dish, making sure it’s touching the aluminum foil.
This is essential for the chemical reaction to occur.
Pour the solution of baking soda and boiling water into dish.
Let sit for two to 10 minutes, depending on the level of tarnish.
Rinse jewelry and allow to dry.
